I'm already starting my Hypnotize build with my Cannon points.
By build looks something like this:
Hypnotize (max)
Grenade (max) [YOU CAN USE THIS ON BOAT TO FORM MOBS!!!!]
Gaviota(max) [Summoning birds WHILE air striking is hax]
Flamethrower(max) [I didn't get to max it 3rd job, why would I want a skill at 26?]
No Hero's Will? It's very important at early levels.
But on a serious note, Torpedo before Cannon isn't such a bad idea if you're maxing it after Cannon or sometime soon after. I found Torpedo more useful for training than Cannon anyways.
