In addition, the "Efficiency" part is primarily there to help you know when to use it. For example, if you set it to 50% and you see that your DPS with Octo is lower than your DPS without it, then you know that you need Octo to be attacking and doing damage for more than half of his lifetime for him to be worth casting. Similarly, I mess up with my timing on casting Octo on my Battleship (it's hard to tell when you've returned to neutral after shooting Cannon because it all looks the same), so sometimes I increase the cast time to 1 second (1000ms) to see if it's still worth casting. And lastly, sometimes Octopus likes to attack something that you don't have Homing on (most notably at Zakum Arms), so I gave the ability to turn off Homing just for Octo to see if he's still worth casting.
