I've never played a Hero but I'm going to go ahead and say this:
On Bigfoot, a Hero with the same range as me can do faster Bigfoots by two to three minutes (this is me using a Karstan, so Normal 6) The fact of the matter is, on bosses, they can do lesser damage quicker. That's why I believe that a Hero with SI and a Stonetooth can exceed an Aran's DPM. However, an Aran with SE can outdamage a Hero by far because of their pre-existing critical damage.
