I remember Rai telling me about Crimson Balrog. I didn't believe him. xD This was my first vision of it and I was freaking out about it. Biggrin

My friend Rant (Jeff) and I were going to try to make a Work Glove business. I had landed a 10% on a WG I had several days before this, then he bought 4 GFA 60s and I landed them all. We sold it for big bucks, then rinse-and-repeated with only 60s. In the end we were done, I think there was a little profit, then I don't remember much. But he ended up wasting a TON of money of his for some REALLY. POINTLESS. EARS. Neconomi or something. It was the most STUPIDEST thing I ever saw happen on Maple. That was inside my Maple life and not someone else's, I should specify.

My first Zakum run. To get a helm I'd have to pay 5 Onyx Apples, and I was given a shot. Didn't pay yet obviously, but if I was able to survive the run and a buyer died, a helm was mine. I didn't actually get my helm till 95, as I obviously died here. I had no party and my HP was below 5k. And to this day I HATE the 1/1 every 5 seconds. >_>

I was already done with the Memory Monk 999, but on my way to the next map I killed one and a Helmet Dex 60 dropped. I asked if it was valuable and I was told that it was extremely valuable. I held onto it and then tried to auction it on Basil for 55 mill, the average starting price. I took the auction down shortly after because a certain "godly NL" offered me 75 mill on it. This was already to be life-changing.

A level after the Helm Dex 60, I was hunting, unexpecting this, and bam, a Chaos Scroll dropped. If this never happened, I'm not sure if I'd be 123. :f6: I sold it for 90 mill ASAP since chaos scrolls were deflating like mad (thanks event, I got this one without opening a stupid box too), and then things went really different.

Tried selling the Chaos for 170m. Someone offered, or, tried ripping me off. I thought it was funny, so I screened it. I did end up selling for 90m.

Only successful GPQ I've been on... and I had to solo. This was my first GPQ, actually. Loved this fight.
