More specifically, Verizon FiOS fiber-to-the-home internet currently rated at 15 Mbps downstream. The times I gave are based on the usual torrent sizes I download from, which usually runs between 5 to 8 GB depending on format (whether it's h264 or just something like XVid/avi) and number of eps in the series. I also grab stuff of distribution bots located on various IRC networks, and I can usually pull full downstream with those.
Also keep in mind that I don't ALWAYS get full downstream on every torrent I download - that highly depends on the capability of the swarm. But at the very least I'm in full control of my service. I can port-forward as necessary.
