Ventrilo and Music?

To be honest, I don't think this is possible...or at least, not with one soundcard. I'll admit firsthand that I don't know enough to be certain (which is also why I avoided responding here), but my theory is this:

If you have played around, you'll notice that for many sound-editing programs, they tend to have output options. Options that allow you to use which driver. I'm guessing, if you have two sound cards onboard, you'll be able to select which program will output its sound to, say, A, and which program will output its sound to B. I'm not familiar with winamp (since i dont use it) enough to tell you if such an option exists, but I'm almost certain ventrilo has it. Though, it's been awhile since I lasted used that as well.

By the way, all computers generally come with an integrated sound card...meaning it's stuck on the motherboard. If you're REALLY up for dishing out money on an idea that could possibly fail, go for it. You need only to buy one sound card, as you're taking into account of the one that's integrated on the motherboard.
