The problem aren't the classes. It's the entire community, we're all obsessive over DPS. I admit, even I am. When I started MS, I was a Pole Arm Dragon Knight, I played mainly for the 'motivation' and will to use flashy blue dragon skills. Eventually, I quit because I noticed I can't:
a) Boss as well as Hybrids or Spear-DKs.
b) People looked-down at me for being unique
So I switched to a Night Lord. I was treated differently, in fact, I went from a regular Mapler into one of those higher-up Night Lords (albeit, low-levelled because I'm 13x) that people will try calling on if they need NLs for Zakum. I felt needed, but deep down, I knew they only wanted me because I'm a funded and powerful NL 'for my level'. But truth is, if you don't like your class, why not just quit? -shrugs- I quit my PADK for my Night Lord. Do I regret it? Not really. It's just a different way of playing. If something else gets better than my NL, hell, if a Bowmaster and a MM does twice a NL's damage, surely, I'd be complaining. But I'm not going to b'tch about it over and over, if that was the case, I might as well play a new MMO or make a new class. -shrugs- Change is inevitable.
