Each and every one of you have two weeks to create ONE thread. It can be an awesome thread with tons of potential! Even shitty threads are welcome during these first two weeks of 2010. Anything you want! There's a catch, though.
Your thread must be within all of the following guidelines:
-Must be original content. This is balls to the wall hard, just like it should be. No, I'm not going to search every inch of the internet to see if someone else has done something similar. We'll know if you put effort into your own idea.
-No memes. Nothing. Comics and anything else created by you and only you are allowed, but can't contain a single meme reference. No reaction images. No motivational posters/advice dog variations. No chanspeak, such as "FUUUU-" etc. You do not know what 4chan is, or any other place where forum/image board memes run rampant.
-No "reposted 4chan shit". This is important. Your thread must be created without the influence of any copy-pasted 4chan nonsense aiding you. It will be obvious otherwise.
-No pointless/spam threads. One word posts are not original content.
Think about these things before you start:
-Don't try too hard. If you put too much effort into a thread without giving it any solid potential, it won't be any fun!
-Be yourself. I know that sounds corny, but really! Think about what you are good at, and turn it into something that everyone here in the Funhouse can appreciate and contribute towards. Use your own imagination and be creative.
-Pick on others. Incorporate other users into your game, story, or whatever kind of thread you're aiming to create. Be a bully, or be a lovey dovey faggot. I don't care.
Dickwad General:
-I run this little game, not Fiel or any of the other moderators. Don't get me wrong; I'm no Bulldog, but if I think you're going out of your way to troll or ruin a thread, I'm disqualifying you. Just try to have fun!
-If you believe that the content of a thread is going against the rules of this contest, don't bring it into the thread in question. It'll only turn the thread into an argument. If you feel that a thread deserves to be disqualified, PM me. Six people that feel the same way that you do will result in the thread's disqualification from the contest.
To signify that you want your thread entered in this contest, place an asterisk (*) at the end of your thread's title. At 5:00 PM on January 14th, a poll will be created where you will choose your favorite out of all of the threads made during the two weeks. The overall winner will be rewarded.
