A basic level 150 of each with equal stats equips, the Aran would be better in multi-target training and probably lower, more unimportant bosses like Papulatus, where as Heroes would be better with single target DPS and would have a much easier time at Zakum, Horntail, Pink Bean, and the like. But if need be the Aran could replace the hero anytime.
