Letting them win won't teach them anything. They'll know you let them win, too. Instead, tell them your thought process and ask them theirs. Have them analyze the situation (or each other's situations) so they can learn by brainstorming, while you correct errors in their thought processes. Unlike fighting games and the like, Chess has no randomness and no luck, so the "chances" of them beating you really have nothing to do with "chance" to begin with. Just keep tutoring them and remind them that losses will always happen, but that certainly doesn't mean they're bad.
