Lozmaster Wrote:Arguing that the lore of CWK doesn't allow for arans is wrong anyway. They pulled pirates out of nowhere into it, despite them not being mentioned at all for months after CWK was out , then shoehorned in to the pq simply because the class had been released.
They should be updating the pq at the very least to let the new classes in.
Edit: Oh, and I take it anyone arguing that because of the storyline, legends shouldn't be let in are completely against anyone but legends and cygnus fighitng pink bean, who is the result of trying to summon the black mage, clearly not part of the adventurer storyline, and of course, the final fight with the black mage shouldn't allow adventurers to take part, hm?
do you not recall the story to pirates? iirc pirates started when the father of kyrin came back from fighting the black magician and his followers, and when he returned to the land people were intrigued by his style of fighting using his fists [and occasionally guns]. why would there be a master to a class which was non-existant during the times of the old masters? thats like complaining that a banana tree grows pineapples, and the pineapples taste like grapes. and as far as i know, kMS did update the PQ to include a pirate boss, for the sake of fairness.
and the adventurers are akin to the mercernary class in MS. they train and get stronger to fight as minor attack troops against the forces that pose a threat to the maple world. "Oh Noes, the BM has frozen my aran and petrified my KoC, Lets go and help them out fellow warriors!"
Lozmaster Wrote:The notion of it being a possibility was there, though, foolishly, I assumed nexon wouldn't be completely idiotic about it.
"When you assume something, you make an ass of you and me."
NEVER assume nexon will do anything right... you'd think after 4 years people'd learn this by now?

Lozmaster Wrote:Why not? Because they have a storyline? Because they have a combo counter? Please, enlighten me as to why you think arans should be restricted from the already sparse high level content in the game. As I said before, why let them in the temple of time or leafre then, I mean, before, they were only adventurer areas right?
what about leafre or ToT says, point blank, that they were designed for adventurers only? aside from the 4th job masters in leafre, theres no justification to that statement. adventurers can go to the place where arans came from, and arans can go to each of the 5 job towns. apples and oranges.
Lozmaster Wrote:Again, wrong. The story of CWK and it's pq has NOTHING to do with pirates, except for a pirate statue that was NEVER mentioned before, thusly, following your logic, pirates should not be allowed in the pq because there isn't any keep master based on them, the heroes of CWK were only altered months after the area came out to include them, and there are no monsters based on them.
look to the first qouted response, and then this:
Pirates were introduced later into the game, and theyre ranked as an adventurer. surely the grandmaster wouldve naturally learned more than just the natural way of fighting, after already mastering the sword, staff, bow, and dagger. using his bare fists was obvious, if not the FIRST thing he learned to fight with. who can honestly say "i learned to fight using a stick before i learned to throw a punch?"
