I never optimized my characters of FFTA, although I really liked it. My first playthrough I didn't have enough black thread 
My second run was a lot smoother but I only tried to max all their abilities, although I never finished doing that. Well, I, uh, got all of my clan to 50...
I don't know why so many people hate Montblanc and kill him off. Does it really hurt to keep Montblanc in your clan? It's not like you have to use him (at least not after a jagd appear iirc). I do though, since I thought he was a cool character and I never knew much about the stats.
Excalibur 2 has no element. Only the original Excalibur is Holy. I checked on my game, but then I remembered I bookmarked this awhile ago: Proof Scroll down to check.
By the way, how'd you make your screen shots so clear?
By the way (2), my original hume has the same name as your hume.
