That's stupid. The obvious thing to do would be just have the taxi in NLC take to you to bent tree, 1 WHOLE map away from the mansion instead, and just have the portal at the left side of bent tree that normally takes you to the mansion, jump a map to Hollowed ground (the map to the left of the mansion) instead, and vice versa.
