I've had this problem too. Arans didn't interest me at first but they turned out to be really fun. I could see myself playing it well into 4th job, except I'd like to be able to get there without getting carpal tunnel syndrome in the process.
I play an ASDF configuration with Jump on Space on my Corsair and I'm using a similar layout on my Aran. I have Attack on D which is where Cannon is on my Corsair. However, I've never had any wrist problems playing my Corsair, but my wrists were killing me after training my Aran during yesterday's 4 hour 2x event.
tl;dr
D = Attack
Delete = Combat Step
Space = Jump
W = Booster
