You thought a PS3 was expensive before...

The gold PS3 looks atrocious. In general I really hate the humped design on the PS3. It makes it extremely inconvenient for storage and stacking purposes. Also the white PS3 for XIII looks horrible and something someone would buy if they had a big-time crush on the main character. Then again the series has gone so far down-hill that I guess the only people who would go for something like this are the people who probably bought the US and international versions of FFX-2. Then again after playing X-2 and XII I can pretty much expect XIII to include buying a Brady Games walkthrough guide just to get 100% completion. Who knows. Maybe Omega Weapon is inside a treasure chest and only spawns 7% of the time after I give a townsperson a blowjob and then walk around the entire dungeon seven times in a counter-clockwise fashion with my level 1 equipment. Or perhaps I need to go back to the beginning of the game for no reason whatsoever just to pick up a blade of grass that will cause a hidden temple to spawn from the ground after I defeat the final boss. The games have become so ludicrous that the last thing I want to do is to buy this game.

On the plus side, white PS3 controllers look awesome and old-school. The Final Fantasy 7 PS3 also looks hideous. I don't think that the insignia looks attractive at all. Then again Square probably believes they have become so baller that putting their insignia on PS3s would actually lead to a sales increase for Sony. Sorry Square. Find a better design department. I'd rather buy a gold PS3 than a butt-ugly rendition that was probably conceived by some low-wage Mexican while doing some hookah.
