Don't try calling people ignorant for using the word gay for something that is stupid when you're being just as ignorant by being in denial about a word's meaning not being able to change.
Never did they say it didn't mean stupid, they said it's insulting. People have used it to the point where it does mean stupid- still highly insulting and homophobic.
