I think you're referring to Richie. I remember in the anime manga in one of the Richie vs Ash fights, they both summoned their secret weapons - Charizards. It was such a brutal fight, blood was shed. (I mean it!) Unfortunately Ash lost because his charizard was wayy to violent and bit Richie's CZard.

AND THE PIKACHU, SPARKY (i think that's his name) IS SOOOOOOOO CUTE.
