Most lesbians I've met outright detest men and they support "women's rights," (in the "all men are rapists" sense,) but really they cut their hair and wear clothing typical of crude males, (mechanic's overall, wifebeater shirts etc.) and they are often very rude, confrontational and overall nasty.
I'd say gay men can be pretty nice and tolerable, but it's pretty rare to meet a pleasant lesbian. Women speak well of homosexual men, while men speak poorly of homosexual women. I am sure there are exceptions, but I think that's your answer right there.
There's other male stereotypes, though. Metrosexual and nerd/geek come readily to mind.

It should be said that the lesbians you see in porn probably aren't real lesbians and probably don't fall into Quantact's description.
Kay. I have yet to meet a real hot real lesbian, which is pretty thought provoking, given the nature of lesbians (E.g. "ugly" women are lesbian because the majority of men reject them.)
