Do Girls like Gay Guys as much as Guys like Gay Girls?

I've met girls who squeal if they find out I like doods and then simmer down when they find out this preference isn't exclusive. I think it has to do with the comfort of knowing that the guy they're next to (to whom they presumably aren't attracted) wouldn't try to get in their pants.

Then you have those overly flamboyant gay guys who I believe to count for females (in respect to friendship, at least).
