i dunno, i just dont see how having puppet out would speed it up, you stand far enough back so as not to get hit by stun and and dispell and just have to use a jump attack every few seconds (2 hits) to get back in location which would not slow down attacking enough to make it faster for a BM ... i dunno... B> a BM to test PaP on lol, + the actuall casting of puppet takes some time so that could slow down a little also,where as the only real skill we have to cast is like bullseye which deals damage L> Bowmanmasterperson with same scrolled items as a corsair as the same level to see solo speed With the ammount of Defence shells used ( to help authenticate the speed of the run) not to mention, when Pap summons Darkstars BM's can hit those with their Hurricane and totally miss the bodys where as a Corsair would just bypass them and hit bodys 2500% of the time>.>

Corsairs do hit much harder than BM, thats well known. But what allows BMs to solo things faster is how they use puppet. At bosses that have magic attacks, if you cast puppet out of their range and pin them on opposite side the boss will just try to go after the puppet they won't attack you back. This is very helpfull at pap because pap will continue to go into shell every few seconds and waste few seconds of your damage in doing that. When archers have puppet out, pap will never go into shell until it reaches the 400 or so range to puppet which is no problem to archers that can easily KB pap or until puppet runs out.

I am talking from experience on similar level characters:
level 181 corsair pap takes ~6-7min (chews)

level 173 BM that maybe just a bit more funded than the corsair now, i can do pap runs in 4-4.5min (concentrate + tiny bit of cider)

That second boss in Timestemple, it knocks you away from the platform a lot if you miss jump. With puppet on platform below the boss thats no problem at all, for 1min you continue to attack it until it cast reflect.

I didn't know you meant speed by effective. Most other bosses corsairs are faster in that way. I have to say its much much easier to do on BM though.
