Yeah, I've been enjoying Mysterious Girlfriend X for a while now. I just wish it wasn't monthly. On top of that, Ueshiba takes breaks every now and then, so it was skipped about 3 months or so. But it's a nice series. I really wanna see where it's heading with it's most recent chapter (40 at the time of writing this.)
As for Negima, what are you currently up to? Negima starts out looking like just another Love Hina, Ken even goes as far as to modify LH character designs to put them in Negima. But as chapters go on it gradually changes until it's at the point where it's more action than harem. Apparently, Ken was asked to make another harem series, but he wanted to try out something else. So in order to please everyone, he made a harem action, starting out with strong harem tones and then slowly nipping away and introducing action.
