Dusk Wrote:No, the effect of SE is determined entirely by two things: skill % and base crit chance. Higher skill % = SE does less. For example, Corsairs hardly get an advantage from SE because our base skill %s are so high. Higher base crit chance = SE does more. That's self-explanatory. It doesn't matter how many hits they do - one would assume that more hits = weaker damage on individual hits anyway.
Aran have a 60% chance of critting for +60%. That's a +36% average damage to any one hit. With SE, that becomes a 75% chance of critting for +200%. That's a +150% average damage to any one hit, making a 114% difference.
NLs have a 50% chance of critting for +100%, which is +50%. With SE, it's 65% chance of critting for +240%, which is +156%. That's a 106% difference. NLs gain more from crit than Aran do, but that's simply because they had a better crit to start off with.
Of course % is all relative to the base damage of the skill, and NLs do 150% base while Aran attacks are all a little bit higher, so you're probably right about that.
