At what point have Somalian pirates become anything less than human? It's not like they were all sitting on their couches one day considering their career opportunities and just decided to go for "pirate". Hell, many have naught but the guns on their backs to last them through life. They're constantly subject to political, social, and religious oppression. Their nation is under siege by forces both foreign and native.
