My computer is downstairs and my Xbox is upstairs, both on opposite sides of the house.Well, like I said, gaming still works, and also the netcode for xbox360 games is quite good (it "hides" the lag for you), so you don't really notice the (little) lag, but it's just my personal experience, that WIFI is always a tad slower then wired UTP.
I play online FPS games for like 13 years now, and I can tell the difference between ping 10 and 30, so I guess I'm just spoiled... I guess that isn't noticeable for the average casual gamer.
