I have a pair of 8 Str/14 Dex Blue Pageants (Level 80 Shoes). Would it be better in the long run if I switched to atk Facestompers? (Though the best I could probably afford is 4 atk.)

Yes switch to FS's and sell me your shoes..

as you can see in the first 2 or 3 lines i stated my current max range at the time (with 12 dex 3 str shoes) and compaired it to 3 and 4 attack shoes while clean, potted mw'd and appled.. notice how the 3 atk shoe pwns the dex shoe unpotted but appled the dex shoe pwns it.. and the 4 atk only beats out the dex shoe by very little...

I personally would agree with Stererereo and say stick with em till you can grab some 5-6 atk ones to notice any kinda of a jump(unless of corse the few damage the atk shoes will help you to ohko @ skeles but i kinda doubt u'd be ohkoing them anywhere near 100% @ your lvl and stats, and since we all know bossing is the other half of maple... we want a high range for that (appled) which is why i opted to grab some dex gear before getting atk stuff(nose and dex shoes before FS)

so i would suggest using uhh Kayako?'s corsair calculator and messing around with changing random stats... cause 4 atk fs is .. lots (over 1B?) and for it to only add like 40 max range wont probally wont be your most productive use of money but if it is.. giver meign
