Maybe you should re-read my second paragraph because I explained exactly why it was "harsh" to him. He recognizes how it looks and is embarrassed about it. I get it, I felt the same thing when I was spending ridiculous amounts of time collecting monster cards. But he's putting his feelings off on other people by attacking their habits instead of acknowledging his own issues and that doesn't fly. Something like this only seems offensive if you know it's true.
Sorry, I'm not looking to spare someones feelings when they're completely unable to accept them. So if he feels bad about that, that's unfortunate. Maybe next time he won't call everyone else a no-lifer to cover up his own shame. This would be a non-issue if he hadn't brought it up in the first place because, as I said and is proven by looking through the posts in this topic, no one here even mentioned anything about him not having a life, so it's not like he was even defending himself.
And yeah, I'm aware that I'm a peach. I can accept that.
