Why did you take the arm route that you did?

I was hoping someone would ask. The arms are big pushovers, but the order you take them in is all-important. The weakness of Corsairs is that their boat is incredibly slow and their avoid is also terrible. Thus, I designed a route that gets me hit as little as possible. I eventually settled on...

During arm 1 I'm getting hit the most, so the ability to jump-shoot back into position is invaluable. I chose to kill arm 2 instead of arm 3 next because it has 10m less HP and it's a little stronger. Then arm 3 is the last of the arms that can hit the whole map. I can attack and kill arm 4 without getting hit from the top left, although some of my shots miss because it's too low. I jump down to the bottom left to kill arm 5 because, for some reason, it hits the second platform from the top on the right, even though arm 7 doesn't. After this, I can safely attack arms 6 and 7 from that platform and I never miss. Arm 6 (the heal arm) comes before arm 7 simply because it can heal and defense up. Arm 7 is helpless anyway. Arm 8 (the curse arm) hasn't been able to hit me the whole fight, poor guy. I stand on the bottom platform on the left (*not* the floor) so that all of my shots hit. I have to use all-cures here, though it's still faster than having 30% of my shots miss.

Can I ask for a rough estimate how much you spent washing up to that much HP? I mean, it looks like a little around 2K or more...

Well... wait. A pirate my level should have 167+125+325+23*165 = 4412. My base HP is 6226, so 6226-4412=1814. 1814/21= approximately 86 washes. This is, of course, based on averages so there's a margin of error, I just don't know how big.
