As I said, I wasnt sure when he got that perfect bow. I knew he had a 119 atk metus before that, so... yeah, that would be an extra 16 attack from bow alone if he went now.
Additionally, I wasnt referring to PACs (I had a 2/8 dex before I got hacked...good ole times) and FS but rather Chaos'd PACs and FS, as that's where the real bonuses are.
After some research, I've found that between summer 2008 and now, we've gotten...
Attack Belts (0-->11)
Chaos'd PACs (4--> 12)
Chaos'd FS (2-->10)
Hammered Gloves/50%/100% glove scrolls (15-->21)
MoN (0-->10)
MW (5% increase --> 15% increase)
Bow (119-->135)
Not sure if there's anything I missed, but from that alone (all of them reasonable upgrades), you have an extra 59 attack and 10% increase in dex + the extra 50 dex he'd hypothetically have if he were 10 levels higher. I did not factor in the strength needed to use the bow, so something could possibly be off slightly off there, but I'm saying that the damage increase is significant enough to push the time down by a lot.
I'm no statician, but I'd say that a 19x archer might have <some> shot at getting an hour, with all the new innovations today.
On an entirely different note, I'd be curious to know Lachrymus or however you spell it's zak solo time at 200. I know he's in Windia, and perhaps you know him, so perhaps you two could set something up and time him. I remember him posting his equips on I think sleepywood and they were really godly. While it wont be definitive whether a 19x BM could get under an hour, if he cant get under the hour, then no one can.
