Men of Southperry: Multiple piercings?
#19
Providence Wrote:No offense taken. While I don't exactly understand reactions of disgust to them, I don't believe them to be inherently wrong. It's all based on opinion.

Tattoos and piercings make me happy just as a haircut might make someone else. It all falls under the idea of "looking good naked", to me. They're for no one other than myself, and that's a sentiment shared by many enthusiasts who I've met. I doubt it's a phase I'm going through as I've been interested in them ever since I went to my first hardcore show (nearly a decade ago).

By next summer, I'ma start apprenticeship as a piercer. It'll give me something to do during breaks when I start teaching. I know it's a job that usually won't go anywhere, but if silly things such as piercings made me happy growing up, it'd be nice to be able to do the same for some other kids.

See, the reason I dislike them is just because no one in my family has ever had one. I also was brought up in a way that made them seem connected to evil-ness. On girls, it's a different story, but I still don't like them on guys. Not saying anyone should pull them out once they have had them, not at all. I just haven't seen anyone that I think they look good on. Possibly Ryan. Piercing other kids, huh?[/COLOR]
