I think the best thing about Conkers bad fur day is the fact that it was intended to be a kids game, something along the lines of Banjo Kazooie, but they decided to just say "screw the kids" and make this. Conker was in the first Diddy Kong racing, and I don't even think he had a game yet at that point.
