Laughing at the deliberate murder of thousands of people in the name of God is not funny. I was near Ground 0 on 9/11/01, between the students calling their parents that worked in the towers to see whether they were still alive, and an all-pervasive stampede-like panic that gripped my campus, I really never thought anybody in America would ever find the whole thing as something to laugh about.
