What impressive advancements in the meshing of high quality image recognition software, innovative uses for projection display and audio input, and intuitive methods of control and program manipulation?
What I'm really hoping for in my lifetime is augmented reality a la Denno Coil or at least heads-up displays like Ghost in the Shell, which I've actually seen the makings of. Tiny projections straight on to the retina and all that. Of course, they're focusing the technology on helping the blind.
