Law school is currently one of the worst terminal degree paths unless you manage to land in a really good school, and you REALLY want to be a lawyer. For various reasons, there are so many law school graduates that many of them cannot get jobs. This was true even before the current recession, I can only imagine how bad the job market for lawyers is now.
