Pokemon was really just a giant cell city.

I'll post a couple things I wrote about to clear up confusion.

"2. Ribosome is pikas lightning attack because it transfers energy just like the ribosomes transfer proteins from transferred RNA"

"4. Ash represents the Golgi Apparatus/Complex because he goes through the process of training pikachu and protects him also"

"7. Pikachus cheeks are the mitochondria because they help him convert his electrical energy into lightning based attacks"

"9. Nurse Joy (Medical/Doctor) is the cytoskeleton because she helps pikachu stay in shape and be a well-structured pokemon!"

They're mostly supposed to be silly, but now that I go over them, some of em make a lot of sense (In my mind).

I was going to say...you had BETTER have this explanation or you'll fail, to put it bluntly. I'm a Microbiology major who has been a die-hard Pokemon fan for the past decade and I didn't understand the picture in the original post until you posted this explanation.

Oh, and what's your explanation for using a K/O'd Mudkip to represent a Lysosome? If anything Pikachu's lightning would make more sense as the function of the organelle is to destroy old/defective organic material from other organelles within the cell (and to initiate cell apoptis if and when necessary)...but I can see it working if you're focusing on it as the center where everything "goes to be recycled," I guess.
