Seeing as I don't really buy things anymore as I'm saving up for when the alchemy forging system comes out, I'm not all that affected financially. I must admit, I was a victim of the bowman bandwagon... sort of... for third job that is... back when it first came out.
I made a bunch of chars for trying each class out up to lvl 15 and I liked bowmen the most. After hearing the hype on the strength of Snipers and the fact that they were had an affiliation with ice, I jumped on board for them. I did test the types before deciding... but I guess in the end I still bandwagoned.
... but I'm going to assume you were referring to the 4th job bandwagon with SE and Bowmasters and all, so you can just ignore what I've said.
Really though it does not bother me that people want to play a certain class for a certain skill. What does bother me, however, is when people just leach characters for "X-Skill" mules. They run into trouble trying to use people so they just make one for themselves? Or is it that they don't want to try making an actual friend of someone in the class? The same can be said to a greater scale for DKs though.
