MTS tax - good or bad thing?

really ? msea mts came out with the tax(except for the first week of release). and i see the mts being used everyday o.O

in GMS the tax was originally 110 + 10%. Therefore, the minimum item price was 221. Then they changed it, so that now it's 500 + 7%. Don't know which tax system MSEA has. Nexon's justification is that this makes purchases over 15k have less tax, but let's be honest: the percentage of items being sold for more than 15k in the MTS is probably countable on one hand. In reality it rendered all of the 1-2k transactions completely ineffective, and since that made up a good 90% of all items being sold in the MTS, the system was completely destroyed. It's rather ironic that Nexon, whose whole business model is based on "Microtransactions", made such small transactions in the MTS impossible even when THEY WERE ALREADY MAKING CONSTANT MONEY off it.

If I wanted to buy a shop, which is 1,800 NX, but the only way I had to make money was through the MTS, then that means I'd be selling items which Nexon got a part of the cut on. So, let's say I sold my items like this:

1800 NX (total)	(+840 tax)

The player then turns around and spends that 1800 they made in the CS on the shop. That means that, in effect, Nexon just sold the 1,800 NX shop for 2,640 NX. That's the beauty of the MTS for Nexon, it actually increases their sales. However with the increased tax, you can't make sales like that. Because now, that first item that would sell at 221, isn't going to be worth 617 NX, which is the new minimum. Now instead of being able to get that shop permit by selling low cost items in the MTS, making nexon an extra 84 cents, our poor example player isn't going to be able to get it at all, which means Nexon doesn't get anything. It's plain t see that Nexon shot themselves in the foot with this tax increase. I mean hell, even if we assume the player buys 10k NX with his real money to get the shop permit because he "needs" it, Nexon still lost out on the bonus 840 they'd have made if he made his purchases with NX made through the MTS.

You might say "but hey, now the player had to spend 10$ to get his shop permit!" But here's the thing - ALL NX that enters the MTS comes through someone buying a 10k or 25k card. That means that ALL of it was taxed as well. For 10k NX to enter the MTS, the person who purchased it with cash has to spend 11,110 NX. If anything, Nexon should be *encouraging* people to go through the MTS, because it increases the profit they make on everything. Clearly they're too blind to realize this, though, so they'll do everything in their power to make the MTS worthless short of removing it in a short-sighted fit of greed.
