MTS tax - good or bad thing?

My overall sales have dropped to nearly nothing. I used to make a slight income off of smaller scrolls, like 10% scrolls being sold for near 200 NX. Now I can't get a single one sold. This tax has pretty much put my Seruf hunting to rest, since I can barely even make enough funds to afford buying another 2x drop card. I'm also incredibly glad that I made my Silver Mane before the tax, because I gave up hunting after only 200 rexton leathers. I used to grab ects and crap that I needed for quests through MTS, and very rarely bought an equip if I found it to be nicely above average, but that's all gone out the window since the tax changed.
