First of all, no this isn't a 'let's get it changed back' thread nor a place to complain.
What I want to get at here is whether this change actually benefited nexon or not.
My guess is that total revenue dropped for the mts - a majority of items I see are minimum price, and they aren't going as much as they used to.
However, is this offset by the amount of tax being collected?
I have a couple of questions to pose to everyone to help gather info on this.
For buyers,
How have your buying habits changed since this tax?
Do you tend to buy more expensive items now?
Do you still buy the cheap items you used to (if you did)? Items that can be included are quest items, etc. items and clean equipment.
Overall, how has this change affected you? Include any info not previously asked for that you believe is significant.
For sellers,
How have your selling habits changed since this tax?
Do you still sell the same items? If so, do you still receive the same amount after taxes or has this amount changed (higher or lower)?
Has the speed in which items are being bought changed? ie. Do your items sell out as quickly as they used to?
Overall, how has this change affected you? Include any info not previously asked for that you believe is significant.
Thanks
To start off, I found that the change affected me only moderately, but in a negative way. I always used to dabble in items that cost more than 10-15k and the change between the prices was moderately insignificant. However, I do charge a bit less for my items now (so that they are the same after taxes). As a buyer, I very rarely buy scrolls and quest items via mts nowadays, something I used to often do. I never actually bought clean items via mts before (200 NX was still a lot - 2 mil for a clean item?), but I did buy quest items, for the sake of convenience. I always used to buy crap that I didn't want to look for in mts and they are just too expensive to bother with now, which is my primary concern. Anything less than 6 mil in value isn't worth buying.
I didn't exactly know where to put this, but I felt this was the most appropriate.
