I just looked over the first two items (Antellion Relic and Mystic Astrolabe). Why do I feel that a crapload of Crimsonwood quests are going to be NX and iTCG only...?

Why, just because those two items are the ones that mention Crimsonwood? No, that was a means of introducing the community to the idea of Crimsonwood after they had decided to work on it. In fact, I think it's possible that they might have even used the TCG descriptions to gauge interest in certain expansions (Notice that Foxwit hasn't gotten any more technological TCG items since set 1, and set 2 was very heavily concentrated on Crimsonwood and to a much lesser extent, Ariant.)

Think of those as preparation for the real quests, which will probably explain in some greater detail about those things.
