It is true though that Shantotto is also the easiest playable character to punish, with Chaos being the easiest overall. Her HP attacks alone are easy to dodge, and her only brave options are two melee attacks and Bio. If you really want to be good as Shantotto, get the Riposte ability and work on your guarding so you can punish to the extreme.
How do I master this? I don't have access to online battles so I'm only able to fight NPCs. There was once I was in the Duel Colosseum and I was made to fight Shantotto. He attacks like you said are easily dodgeable but I want her for her EXmode attack :>
