I'm having a problem that some people here might know what I'm talking about.
There's a dictionary tool in Window's IME that allows you to add words to your IME for when you type a certain string of letters, it'll bring up your word that you implemented into the dictionary. For instance, I put the kanji 弩 in my Japanese IME dictionary, so when I type "ishiyumi" with Japanese text, it'll give me back "弩."
My problem is that I can't use this in MapleStory. When I go to type those strings that I have implemented to spit out the characters that I want, they don't exist. However, I can use this with ANY other program and it works perfectly fine. It seems as if MapleStory itself is giving me this problem, yet it seems like only Windows Vista has this issue.
Using this in MapleStory would be a HUGE help, since there's a lot of things I have in my IME dictionary that would help me with scrolls, conversations, etc. For some reason, this problem ONLY happens with Windows Vista. I can't figure out how to solve it, either.
If anyone knows how to get around this problem so I can use the dictionary tool in MapleStory, I appreciate your help!
