So the question is, will the other versions follow suit or stick to the original WT, or just combine both together?

GMS just added Malaysia, the GMs aren't THAT idiotic. Some areas simply not being added from KMS makes the most sense to me, or at least different incorporations of them (not Neo Tokyo, referring more to Mushroom Castle, etc).
