Those of you who are chastizing people don't seem to get it and it's either because you don't care about the event and getting fun little goodies like the broom and hat (fine, but you may as well mind your own business if that's the case) or you have no life and are willing to ks and camp at bosses all day which probably makes you worse than glitch abusers.
I can't speak for everyone but I assume the same to be true for a good portion of players, that this wouldn't have been so heavily abused if there was a feasible alternative. I would've happily killed random monsters with a 1% drop rate of these for a couple hours a day if that was a choice, but it's NOT, and that's Nexon's fault. An event, ESPECIALLY holiday events, should be available for all players to participate in freely.
This glitch provided people with an alternative to what would otherwise be impossible to them. How awful it is that they took that opportunity.
Hell, I imagine most of the people, like myself, weren't aware that they were even supposed to drop from area bosses only. I merely heard a buddy of mine on my buddy list say, "You can get these Dark Tokens at Jr. Newties, and trade them in to Malady for a 100% chaos scroll and/ or a belt with 1 attack and 1 magic attack." I only passingly considered that they were glitched, and thought that perhaps Nexon felt like giving a power boosting item to everyone. Having the Higher level individuals go hunt at a mob for them, and lower level individuals would hunt area bosses and maybe some yet to be discovered lower level mob. I'm kinda surprised at myself, you'd think after all this time, I'd realize the way Nexon works, "if it seems too good to be true, it is, and you're also banned."
