All of these different types of new quests and medals are awesome. I will be busy for a while.

Also I am glad they added the medal storage system otherwise I would have had to expand my slots.

You would have to expand your slots. The Medal thing just lets you view what Medals you have obtained out of all of the available ones, it does not hold all your Medal equips in a different storage system. They stay in your Equip slot.

And yes, those quests are all GMS exclusive, Alilatias, which is astounding. It sounds awesome. But I'm willing to bet those over those low levels can't do them, fight the boss, or get the awesome helmet(s). But I hope they don't make it that way, so I guess we'll see.
