Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread

Felix, think you could help me out and get a Witch build? I just made a Mage today. <_<
Preferably PvE.

My build is insanely unorthodox, as it's built specially for how I like to play. I highly doubt it'd work for or even be liked by many other people. I'm completely avoiding the Fire element in favor of maxing the handful of skills I like. I have better solo bossing abilities but slightly worse mob control than typical Witch builds.

I've seen most people say Manteau is mainly just for gathering, and it shouldn't be raised past 3. I use it as an actual attack and it's one of my favs, so I'm maxing it. For the best dungeon clearing ability, you'll definitely want both Acid Rain and Lava Potion. I'm not getting ANY Lava Potion. I don't think I've seen many other people max Flyswatter, either. I am.

Almost everyone agrees you need to max EMM. EMM is the best Witch skill, in my opinion. Anyone who doesn't max it (or close) is retarded. It's great for mobbing and bossing.

I don't know. Just do some research like I did and mess with the planner. It's really not hard to think up builds. The biggest decision you have to make is whether or not you want to spend 210 points for the prereqs for Lava Potion (ask yourself: do I want Fire element and a godly mob control skill, even though it costs a lot of points to get?). All the other prereqs are not expensive and are good skills in their own right. Get the prereqs. See what you like. Watch videos to see how things work. Experiment.
