Have you felt real fear?

To this day, I cannot understand that episode.
It's a moose ... so, what? Is it just the writers being LOLRANDUMXD, or is a rather docile (yes, docile. It's chewing on nuts, not goring someone) moose a legitimate threat for a student inside of a bus, surrounded by other students?

I really want to understand the moose, but I ... I just can't!
