The Thread of No Rules

This is what we have to read every time Greg is infracted.

Now, let's not play dumb. We both know Harrisonized is beyond butthurt and is going out of his way to find any and all posts he could get other people infractions for, and I'm practically on the top of his hitlist. I find it hi-larious that I was infractioned for "trolling" my friend's topic, but putting that aside, I feel that only one of the infractions distributed in that single topic was truly deserved.

This is clearly spam, and I was rightfully given a spam infraction. This is obviously inarguable.

This, however, is what made me question not only the reporter but the infraction-giver's thoughts as he delivered this beautiful 2-point infraction into my PM box. I'm gonna be completely honest with you here, Isaac. I had a couple of drinks last night as I was browsing southperry. My cat recently died and since then, my life has been a barrel of suck. I screwed up my entire sleeping schedule after countless nights of crying myself to sleep, so here I am at midnight browsing Southperry. My first intoxicated act was the spam post mentioned earlier:

Just take a good look at it. Does this honestly look like the way a person, let alone I, would express a laugh on the internet? If the random lowercase letters inbetween the sea of capitals don't already make it look like a person under the influence of alcohol was hopelessly attempting to type a message, take a look at the HORF HORF. Have you ever heard HORF as a part of an e-laugh? I never have. Again, this is just plain old spam, and I do not disagree with the infraction directed towards it.

Let's look back at this one, however:

I feel that I am undeserving of this infraction, as it was looked at in a way that did not match my intentions as I posted it. While the person who pressed the report button looked at this as TROLLING for whatever reason, I was actually trying to redeem myself in the thread for having posted a spam reply by actually posting a somewhat meaningful show of care to a friend in distress. After having a drunken reminisce on what I had spammed only a few minutes before, I decided to head back to the thread and try for a more on-topic, serious post. "u mad", basically, was meant to come out as "Are you mad", which was supposed to really come out like "So you're really pissed at Neckson this time, huh? Would you quit if they perma'd you?". Mark, known to you as Opeth, and I were having a second conversation about the Pits of Hell topic in MSN at the same time, and he knew exactly what I meant in my post, so we just picked up from there instead of continuing the one-liners on the forums. PM him for yourself if you'd really like to continue making this a hassle for the both of us.

tl;dr, I don't deserve the infraction for this post, and would like to request it's justified removal. It's silly enough that I'm recieving infractions for joking around with a person whom you obviously know is a friend of mine, and are actually choosing to take infractions somewhat "seriously" after some punk wasted half of Southperry's time by making a six-page thread. I appreciate the time taken out of your busy Southperry moderation to help come to a solution my little dilemma.
