What's a good level to convert from fan dit to normal dit, and what's the best way to make the conversion? Is it right at level 80 when I get the Khanjar, or am I still better off using the Fan until level 90 or 100 or even 120?

Current stats/equips if relevant:

4 str 2 luk 3 slot shield (was using to equip level 50 dagger) - not using att shield at all at the moment...
12 str 4 luk Red Pao
10 dex Red Pao bottom
13 att SCG (shared with main)
4 att 6 dex PAC (shared with main)
clean Deputy Star
clean White Belt
8 dex Black snowshoes
Nothing's hammered.

Expecting to have Blue Belt and PQ Mania medal, and hopefully an 10ish dex Glittering earrings for an extra +7 to all. So expected stat totals at level 80:
+45 str, +62 dex, +42 luk

Oh, and I have a clean 8 att 1 luk Khanjar sitting around already.

4 base STR, 40 base DEX and still 13 levels of AP to go before level 80 so options are wide open.

I'd like to minimize spending on this character but it's long term planning and I'm taking it slow so big investments are allowed.

As far as I know, fandits will remain plenty powerful till 120, so why not stick it out till like lvl10x and then start converting?
