Should Throws get married in Vegas?

 Reading is good for you, I swear!

Your wedding is one of the most important days in your life... do you really want to get it done quickie-style in a Las Vegas chapel?

Basically, a reverend runs alongside all the couples who decide to participate, and you say your vows and tie the knot while running 13.1 miles.

Your wedding is not only for you, it's also for your family... you should get them involved.

The way we would "resolve" this issue would be to have a ceremony/reception the day before the race for the family, since I'm sure neither of us would want to have a big hoo-hah after the run. Then we run our thing, and maybe just have our immediate family in Vegas for the ceremony so they could take lots and lots of pictures.

I'll be honest, the more I contemplate this idea, the more I want to go through with it. We've already decided that we're going to run the half-marathon in Vegas (if any Southperricans want to join us!) plus we've been engaged for so damn long it's become the family joke that my grandchildren will get married before we do. Gonna talk to Mommy about it this weekend.

Whee, less than two months to find a proper dress to run in!
