Seriously though, you seem like a cool guy, and I am jealous of everyone who has you for a friend in real life. Don't you earn time off in the military? Go back home and visit sometime.

I did in August, but it felt...surreal. I had to fight myself from thinking I had never joined the military, never left home. I wanted to just let myself believe everything was as it was a year and a half ago.
